Spectrum State Experience an experience indeed!

Everyone enjoyed themselves at Spectrum State Experience, the GAP art gallery exhibit raising funds for the GAP program. It was an excellent event and many participants in the program invited their friends, family and relatives to the event. Aside from the funds raised from the event, there was over $400 worth of fantastic art purchased throughout the night – much of which can take us anywhere in our imagination with a great deal of detail in each piece. All of the funds raised from the artwork went directly to the artists with autism who created the pieces.

An incredible band Gypsies & Judges performed at the fundraiser too – everbody enjoyed the music which had some amazing beats. Ruben Jussen also performed, wowing the audience with his vocal range, talent on the keyboard & guitar, and his contageous energy that brought the room to it’s feet. There was also a delicious variety of h’orderves and refreshments like crackers, zesty dips, quiches and some classic sweets. One of the staff, Zoey, mentioned that her favorite thing about the event was the fact that lots of people from outside the organization attended and she liked how we were incorporated into the gallery.

A special thanks to Ashley Greathead for coming up with the theme of this years events. Also, a special thanks to Weylin Wagnon for coordinating the event with Ashley. They made a great team. Check out more pictures from the event here!
