“I like to contemplate the future”

We are proud to share with you that this month, Michael achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. Throughout Boy Scouts, Michael feels he gained leadership skills and learned how to help his community. He also feels he learned how to better understand his strengths, weaknesses and goals. As he puts it,

“I feel completely lifted having achieved this level of advancement in scouting. I am proud to see myself grow in this way, and I hope to pursue future life goals with more confidence.” He would like to thank his mother, his Scout Master, Scout Chairman, his project Mentor and his friends at the GAP program for supporting him.

Michael is also a student at a local community college, he plays the flute, participates in GAP, and on some weekends plans social events with his new friends at GAP. His life motto is to “be open-minded”. Michael enjoys going to GAP. “It gives me an environment where I can grow my language immersion through the context. GAP has provided me strong support in academics, life skills & personal growth.”

Great job Michael! We are so proud of you!
