Meet Rachel and Jonathan!

FACT Family is happy to welcome Rachel Thornally and Jonathan Zeledon to our staff! Rachel and Jonathan serve as FACT’s Intake and Intern Program Managers in our respective North Los Angeles Valley and Westside locations. Here’s Rachel and Jonathan in their own words:

“I am Rachel Thornally, the Valley Intern Program and Intake Manager. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, but then escaped for a few years to complete my BA in Political Science at Goucher College in Baltimore, MD. After graduating in 2009, I moved back to Los Angeles to be closer to my family, and also pursue a career in government. Eventually, I ended up attending California State University Northridge for my Master’s in Social Work (MSW). I then worked for a Surrogacy and Egg Donation Agency as a Case Manager. In addition to being the Valley Intern Program Manager and Intake Manager for FACT, I also work part time as a contract social worker at a private Adoption agency here in Los Angeles conducting home studies, and writing various other adoption related reports. I currently live in Hollywood with my husband.”

“I am Jonathan Zeledon, the new Intern Program and Intake Manager for Westside! I am eager to jump in and collaborate with fellow staff, clients, and their families to make their experience at FACT as wonderful as it can be. I have two bachelors and two masters degrees -respectively in psychology and sociology, and experimental psychology and social work. I have unilateral hearing loss—talk to me in a quiet space or on my left side, so don’t be shy when talking to me! I used to teach at Cal State Northridge for six years and love teaching and working with students. I also am a big video game nerd!”
