GAP Valley

Generating All Possibilities Valley (GAP Valley) is the sister program to the GAP Program in West Los Angeles. The GAP Valley Program was developed in response to the community’s need for a program aimed at supporting young adults who are transitioning from high school to college and independent living. This unique community based day-program serves the San Fernando Valley area and is an authorized vendor of North Los Angeles County Regional Center.

GAP Valley offers educational support to individuals with developmental disabilities who are on course to obtain a degree from a community college or four year university. Through a variety of hands-on learning experiences, young adults successfully integrate into college life and manage responsibilities associated with independent living. Support include on college campus help, internships and volunteer opportunities with community partners. There are also a variety of workshops and activities.

In addition, the program also addresses other health and well-being topics during the weekly group workshops
