In-Home Behavior & Parent Training Programs
In-Home Behavior and Parent Training Programs help correct and manage maladaptive behavior(s) while developing a healthier family system. These programs are primarily for children and parents. If you are looking for young adult or adult services in-home support, please click here.
FACT’s In-Home Behavior and Parent Training Programs begin with an assessment that carefully examines the child’s maladaptive behaviors. This assessment is comprehensive and focuses on skill areas including: home living, health and safety, leisure, self-care, self-direction and more.
A trained interventionist works in-home with all family members, and any other adults that interact with the child (nanny, grandparents, etc.) on how to correct and manage maladaptive behaviors, as well as how to successfully teach the child appropriate replacement behaviors. A licensed clinician supervises and oversees the family’s progress.
